How much can the DA effect ET/MPH?
How much can the DA effect ET/MPH? I went to Steele AL this past Friday and I looked up the weather conditions and figured out the DA(Density Altitude) was -1403ft. I didn't run but I was there with a friend since I haven't done any mods since the last time I went to the track.
My question is how much more hp would a big negative DA like that add compared to an SAE corrected rwhp number? I know they have correction factors to get to the SAE number, but you should be able to reverse it and figure out how much more hp over an SAE rwhp dyno number you were producing at the track.
I'm sure it could be figured out to equal percentages that you would multiply by the SAE rwhp for various DA's.
