Yup, Im doing the same thing. I saw it was robbie style corners, very nice. And the midplate, with studs would be great. And run the passanger side front brake line along the firewall, not along the Kmember. Out of the way to drop the Kmember and work on the car.

Im re-doing all the brake lines, but keeping it along the K-member, with a motorplate you wont be dropping the K out to get the engine.

There's barely enough room, I've seen it on one car, so I know the studs will work.
If you do what John from tsp did and fab the mid plate into the firewall, and inlarge the trans tunnel for say 6 inches or so, you'll have plenty of room, making tranny removal a 1 man job on your back a 20 min deal... which is what I'm aiming for.
Only thing that would make it easier, would be a removable tunnel, something else I've actually considered.
