Dont think I could get it sideways without moving the engine forward a little, as it is the float adjustment is just under the cowl.

Not too worried about the few HP Im givin up hell, I still only got 1 gun ... Only plan to run this little junk engine next year at Cecil's x275 races to get some seat time (dont you bastards start coming up this way)

But since everyones gotta have a record... How about "Fastest X275 LS Engined Stock Interiored with back seat 4th gen in Pewter with a carb".... sounds legit to me!

Just got the results from being scaled....

2893# race weight W/O Driver 49.5% front to rear balance.

Car still has a back seat in it, full metal under the fenders and in the trunk, stock windshield and rear hatch glass....

I can see getting it down to 2650# w/o driver.

Hit cecil tonight....

3rd run off the trailer went a 10.03@136 spinning bad with a 1.47 60'

Plenty left in it, only had 25 degrees of timing.

Theyre EGT thermocouples.

Knowing exhaust gas temps is very useful in tuning.

Made the first nitrous passes this weekend.. Changed some things up, ended up using a plate kit as the plans are to now run Ultra Street. Lots left in it, but getting a good idea of what direction I need to go in.

Bring this back from the dead... Its been a while, after running the 2012 season with a couple races at the end of the year in Ultra Street, I made the call to put a bit more effort into the program.

New engine by BES Racing Engines
438" LSX Block
Diamond Pistons
Callies Magnum Crank / Ultra Rods
Jesel Belt drive
Mast Motorsport Mozez heads and Intake
CFM Custom Carb

Chassis is with Rhodes Custom Auto, getting 25.5 upgrade, some suspension work, and custom headers.

Car is being set up to run Ultra / Ultimate street class... Competitive ETs now are 5.0's. I plan to win so..... Race weight is 3250#.

Car has been at Rhodes Custom Auto for a couple weeks now, Ron and the guys are hammering away making a ton of progress.

Sheet metal work in the rear. Removed the trunk, and making room for the RaceCraft torque arm. Rear suspension is getting coil over relocation brackets (TRZ Motorsports) removing the panhard and going to a wishbone, and new coilover shocks & springs by Ron @ Santhuff Suspension.

25.5 Cage is about done,

Frontrunners and strut tower supports going in with weight removal and some room for fender exit headers...

Nice, think it will be 26xx?. You gona remove the armrest, and fender metal still?

why do you have the heat sleeve on the vacpump suck line? thats the clean moroso line with the spring don't you want to see it?

that oil feed line to the pump with that loop in it, secure it to something, so it can't shake. that foams up the oil, same for all of them but a loop is worse.
