Default Recommend a 1330 / 1350 U-joint

I need a 1330 to 1350 conversion U-joint. Prefer to get a solid (non grease-able) race type, but have been unable to find a solid conversion joint. DO these exist?

Thanks,
Rick

NAPA had the only 1330/1350 joint around hrere (Tallahassee); but it was not a solid joint. You just need to buy a Denny's 1350 driveshaft anyhow .

Whats up Mike?
I actually have a 4" dynotec 1350 shaft, but my 9" pinion is a 1330 . I wanted to run this weekend with the new shaft so I could use my transbrake. I guess I am going to have to wait until I can get a 1350 pinion yoke instead, or use a cheap greaseable conversion joint. It seems there is no such thing as a solid 1330/1350 joint, Oh well...

Nope, they only make geaseable 1330/1350, I decided to wait and get a 1350 pinion instead of running a conversion joint. But I also ran into bigger problems. My new 4" shaft will not clear my BMR torque arm

I have a solid 1350 in my Dennys driveshaft. It came with it. I also run the Moser billet pinion on my 12bolt.

Yep, solid 1350's are plentiful, what we need is a 1330/1350 conversion joint..

How long do you think it will be before you can get a 1350 pinoin? Congrats on the new quick 60ft.

Could have one this week, but the hold up now is modifying the torque arm to get the clearance I need.
I think what I am going to do is cut off the polyurethane front mount and change it to a heim joint and replace the shackle with a ladderbar type mount for improved adjustability. That should give the clearance I need..

You have to have a front mount that can move forward and backwards, you'd hve to refab the tq arm with a slider in order to put a heim joint in it.

You might be better off just ditching that tq arm and get a billingsley/madman/PAF arm if you want that type of connection at the front, those are the only 3 I know of that are made that way.

My Midwest Chassis torque arm has a heim front mount and works well. Even has a couple different holes in the front mount for adjustments.

Do you think a 4" shaft would clear on your car?

Madman piece does have a slider, it's inside the tube that's pictured, you can't tell from that picture, but it does.

Midwest also has one, I forgot about that one.

I have no idea. Never thought I'd need one so I never measured. I am real happy with my Denny's Nitrous Ready shaft.
