I have my ac removed but Im keeping my heat for defog/defrost purposes, I will just put a plate at the firewall and then aloow the core lines to pass thru. I think it all depends on what the weather is like where u live...is it a dd?

I removed my AC last year and made a plate for the firewall that allowed the hoses to pass through. I didn't use the heater all season and just finished up removing all the heat and ductwork I could for 2010. The piece directly behind the console was a PITA!

I took out all the bolts so it was loose but left the bundles of wires attached. It allowed me to pull it out a little and move it up and down. I did have to break up the center piece of ducting with all the flappers in it but I wasn't concerned with saving or selling it.
