Just curious, car looks pimp dude, looks awesome with the 295 on it
i got the 15x10 because i was just going to run a 275/60. but then figured since the car was mini tubbed that i would use the extra room to stuff a bigger tire under there.

John, I believe that's what they are. I'll be brining everything in 1" in the front when we put the tubular K and shortened A arms on. 2" drop spindles as well up front. In the pictures everything is stock up front.

Racin, if you narrowed the rear another 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, would the rubbing have not been a factor? And what size are the radials, is the car minitubbed?

That's a nice looking rim, are those the billet specialties?

They're 1.75" backspace. They just looked tucked in because the car has no brakes on the front, so the wheels are bolted right to the hub. With brake discs on they would be out farther. When Trigger gets his front suspension done, they will look killer all tucked in!

I ended up getting a set of 15x8 with a 5.5 BS. Got these for a steal. After seeing those pictures you guys posted and reading your thoughts on the 10s, I will definitely be picking up a set down the line. Any pictures of the car on a lift with these wheels on a narrowed rear end? im curious to see what it looks like

Probably not! I had non-adjustable LCA at the time I had these and have since moved the rear forward but at the time last year trimming was quicker than getting new LCA for last years shootout.

Most have trimmed that area and hammers the metal back from what I've heard. Car is not tubbed at all and the tires are 275/60. These shots are a little different now since we lowered it a bit more by taking the shock rubbers out.

we ran a 4.5BS 15x10 on a rear end narrowed 7" total this was without mini tubing car

i ran that wheel with a 28x10x15 i had to cut the body in the rear wheel well towards the front and i also have to cut the metal that encases the spring with that done they tucked real good and no rubbing

So if you narrow the rear 3inchs on each axle you can run 5.5 bs and no minitubbing? Probly roll the fender lip.

how are you ppl running 4.5 bs and not minitubbing and narrower rears. excuse my retardness. what would i have to do to run a 5.5 and not minitubb. If it is maybe 2 inch narrow each side wouldnt a 5.5 bs work to get it in a stock location.

if you narrowed the rear 3" on each side, a 4.5" bs with a 15x10 wheel would put the wheel exactly how it is stock. if you narrowed the rear 3.5" each side and used a 4.5" bs 15x10 wheel, it would tuck the wheel 1/2" inward with minor modifications. Anything more than a 1/2" tuck would require you to mini tub.

a 4.5 will put you on the metal that incases the spring so it will need to be cut out and the corner that is in the front of the wheel well i guess the end of the frame rail needs to be cut. should take less than a hour but for the way it looks its worth it
