Its not about figuring it out. Its more like being back in school, Brian will teach you what to look for and what to do. Once you get the basic concepts down you can go from there on your own. But when its race day you need to make the right calls the first time out. His experience will tell you what to do in any type of race condition. By the time you factor in track rentals and the cost of fuel, its cheaper to pay brian for the knowledge.

air pressure, shocks, travel limiter settings, tq arm angle if you need a decent sized change, wheelie bar height if you're running them, delay on the nitrous kits, or how the power it brought in with a turbo/supercharger setup.... alot of things.

These days you can do alot with power management.

Dan you have some of the nicest looking stuff I've seen to date. That car's gonna be asbolutely killer when you finish it.

Any updated pic's? I've love to see how it's progressing.

Thing I like best is the bottom hole of the mount.. the one that you can't use becasue the 25.2 is in the way

No all seriousness that tq arm looks great, I like that alot, it's got great adjustability, and it's simple.

I'm just trying to figure out what the 2 tabs are hanging down in the first picture. Looks broke.

Thanks JL. Will have updated Pics as soon as the BBC block gets here, still more fab to do with headers and front mid plates.

Yeah, was no point in cutting the bottom hole off. This TA is pretty trick IMO, it's also telescoping, but was a challenge to fit in there without serious floor pan work, fit with the 25.2 flooring and and still have great adjustability as low as the car sits.

That is correct. It's all welded up now with the pan hard in place.

Believe me I can see whre it was a fight... but it looks like it came out killer.

If I were to ever fab one up... that's how I will most likly make it. The adjustability that you have there is as good as the madman one, might even be better.

I want one like that on my car... but I can't do the bracing across to the sfc's because of the 3.5 inch dual exhaust I'm running. I'm somewhat stuck with the BMR stock style that's on the Th400 bmr crossmember. I'd love to put a better more race orientated piece on but I'm limited.... probably gonna have to build one to do what I want (like yours, but I want it full length)

I'll leave the comparison comment alone .

I think your fine with the setup you have for what you expect to run, it's a pretty decent setup.

Why do you want it full length TA though if you built it from scratch?

Eeh, I have my reasons. Longer arm, I can put more holes in the front, and the length will allow a finer adjustment when raising or lowering it. That, and the longer arms generally hit the tires a little differntly. I"m not on a radial, remember I'm on a regular slick, so that changes things some.

Setup on my sled has worked, and probably will for a while I think. At least as far as the 8.50 cert will take me, once I get down to that range of things, I'll probably need something more. And at that point I'll have cage crossbars to attach the mount too up towards the tranny... so that would be the time to make something.

I'm sure it will work for you... it's the best production tq arm you can buy, probably one of the best period even when considering the one off stuff.

Good choice Ty!

As far as one off's go, they will always be better than production units IMO since it's catered exactly the way you want it and fitted/built directly on your car. I had a side by side pic, but I can't find it so you could see what I'm saying...

By telescoping do you mean kind of like a wishbone on a 4 link setup
