QA1 suspension what height to set the front coilovers? as ? states what height do you 9 and 10sec guys set your front qa1s? ive seen some guys have them on the tires and some normal height etc...

Typically you want to set the height to where you have between 4-5" of strut travel. I'd try and go 2" up from the bottom of the collet and when the car is sitting on the ground measure from the top of the tire to the fender. Then jack up the car and just when the front tire is about to be off the ground remeasure the gap. Keep adjusting the collet up or down to get to that 4-5". Hope this helps.
