What's the highest ET for an F-Body to pull a wheel?
The fact that you're eevn trying to pick up a tire with no frame connectors and a stock tq arm bothers me.
I see posts like this and think WTF are these guys thinking? I mean yeah it's nice to do.. but I've been under enough of these cars that people made the mistake of not putting the frame connectors on, and they get twisted pretty nicely.
Like tektrans said, you pull a wheel with the car like it is, and there's a chance the t tops might not be with you by the end of a run or 2
Hell I have been under a car with bolt on frame connectors, and I can tell you, that they don't even stop the car from getting tweaked. The bolt holes aren't tight enough to stop it... you really need to weld them in.

It was just a question.
And for what it's worth, I have a convertible and not t-tops.
I guess from the wide range of questions, I can assume low to mid 11s with the right suspension set-up for F-bodies? I realize I don't have the corrent set-up, but I was just asking in general, can a 460 RWHP F-body get some air if the correct set-up is used?

No I run a UMI full length TA with a UMI trans cross member relocation kit and enjoy the car 100x more. Out of both TAs Ive done better on the full length
i was barely bouncing mine with a bolt on Lt1 going 12.80's with 60's in the high 1.6's & at 3450#'s. suspension was pretty basic, a bolt in cage, boxed lca's & a boxed factory torque arm. a4, 3.73's, 3k stall & some 275 drag radials. it was only trapping 103-104 so there wasnt alot of horsepower there. the photographer at milan caught it perfect because i know it barely came up......but it counts tho. lol
my main questions are
what rear gear?
what stall?
shocks? and what settings?
what reear tire?
how much front weight reduction?
what torque arm?
thanks!
my car is a bolt on car running 7.7x's w/ a 1.61 60ft pulls them a little. Stock tq arm and no sfc's here but I do have a hard top. It pulls the tire real good on the bottle. I am looking for some good sfc's and torque arm just to be safe though.

Its all in the suspension
