I did something similar with mine when I tubed the front end. I need to add some quick release fasteners at the back of the fenders still, but overall happy with how it turned out and the space it opened up

Default small round stock?

I know this is a old thread but i'm trying to come up with ideas for a one piece clip and looking for the materials to accomplish this.
I see in some builds the smaller pieces to attach the fenders and bumper area looks like small round stock or is this a tubing? looks like 3/8 " to maybe 1/2 in some photos.
thanks Vince
