roll cage material and points?

Default roll cage material and points?

what kinda material and how many points are you guys running, i plan on having a cage certified for atelast 10.50's for now, thanks matt

im using 4130 chromoly and 12 points. But thats not needed for 10.50's. I would do an 8 point. The 2 main hoop points, two points to the trans tunnel off the main hoop. 2 down bars to over the rear suspension off the top of the main hoop. and 2 door bars coming down to the footwell area

Chromoly 10pt here..but you wouldnt need but an 8pt like stated above

you can go 10 flat on a 6 point. The two bar that go to the trans tunnel are for show on a F-body. They don't connect to anything structual on the bottom of the car. They are usually welded to a plate that is welded to the floor board.
A 6 point is the same style bar without those two bars.
