I believe if you put on aftermarket rear suspension, and slip the clutch (rather than dumping) you're axles will be fine and your going to ET quicker.

A friend of mine blew his up when he had to go around a stalled car on a off ramp. With one tire on the shoulder and one the asphalt gave it a little gas and there went the rear end.

I've gone 4 years on a 10 bolt, racing only. no problems here.

I did 12.9 that day with my hoosier 255s' i was bouncing it off the rev limiter when i launched,didn't completely drop the clutch tho,and a 1.9-1.8 60ft?
