Notching interior door locks on wolfe door panels
Just picked up a set of Wolfe aluminum door panels. If you have these, how did you notch them for the inside door locks? I'd like to be able to lock/unlock the door from inside the car. Pics please!
What else did you have to trim to get these panels in? It looks like I need to cut out the two center mounting points that attached to the original door panels.
Thanks, Matt

You don't need to notch much. fit the panel, note where the door lock slider is, mask the area with blue painters tape and just run your jigsaw back about an inch or so, cut a little at a time so you cut just enough for the lock to slide freely. The thickness of the jigsaw blade should be enough to clear the slider so it's just a matter of cutting a straight line. I carpeted my panels and with the carpet on, you can't even see the cut.

I held a yard stick up to the door frame. Those mounts def had to go. I guess the TA is different...
Did you keep the triangle of rubber weatherstripping on each side?
Will the rivets hold up on the SMC of the doors?

I didn't remove any weatherstripping.
I didn't use the rivets, I used nylon anchors on the door perimeter and used flathead screws instead, that way I could take the panel off without drilling out rivets if need be.
