4" aluminum pipe with a 60 degree bend. If I could find about a 50 degree bend with a slightly smaller radius I probably wouldn't have had to even cut anything, but I had no luck finding it. This way probably flows a little better anyways.

No, I doubt I will either. That setup will be track only for now until I find a good way to run the filters down there without getting them wet in the rain.

Some nice looking intakes. Sorry for the dumb question but, would it be worth it to run a intake such as a few of them that was posted (mainly NSSANE02's design) on a stock LS1 w/ headers and 3" exhaust?

No. My intake is made to run with no filters, which of course is for the track only. On a DD the best way to go would be something like a chris1313 or SUX2BU type setup.

Gonna try to come up with something a little different here in a couple of days.

I'm just curious, and I understand guys that are running the FTRA and "Chris1313" setup are still getting forced are but your trying to pull that air up from a vacuum? Has anyone cut out like say the license plate area and tried forcing air in that way?

I understand that "some" of the air will hit the bottom radiator dam thing and force it up, but like I stated your still trying to pull from vacuum. Wouldn't it get more forced air if you had it comming though the license plate area?

Maybe someone smarter will chime in...
