Quick question...did you remove the fuel tank in order to weld the two rear over-seat bars to the "floorpan?"

From the 2010 rulebook:

Adequate padding must have minimum 1/4-inch compression or meet SFI Spec 45.1. All
cars running 180 mph or faster, SFI Spec 45.1 mandatory. Don't need the expensive stuff yet (though its never a bad idea)

Nope that is a "6" point roll bar. It depends how you count the points. Eric does not count the two diagonals off of the main hoop to the center as points (some do) so if you have a Cage from him with the halo and the front down bars he calls it a 8 point cage.

He might not but evryone else does. It is an 8 point bar good till 9.99 FWIW It is tying the bar to the car in 8 places. Did not do a full cage as I did not want to pull the dash just yet.

hard to tell from the pics...but it sure does look MIG'ed....lucky that it doesn't need to be certified by an inspector (since its only a rollbar)...but if it truly is MIG'ed then you are going to have to cut everything out and start over if you ever want to go 9.99 or faster

That pic is of the last bar we installed at 4am so we were both tired and ready to get home. The pic does look worse than it really is. And no it was not mig welded. We know better than that.

Will not put price on board, you need to call Eric. It is cheaper by a ton than everyone else.

03Busa: Roll Bar looks good man! I am going with a 6/8 point from Eric as well. I just need to finish everything else that I'm doing to the car first. He is a great guy, and does awesome work. I am going to pick up my Fab 9 at the end of this month or the first of next month when he finishes it. And thats when I plan on talking to him about doing the Roll Bar for me. I'll just drop the car off and go pick it up when it's done! It's easier that way. lol
Well just wanted to say It Looks Good.
Take Care Man!

TomZ28: Eric has been swamped here lately. Try calling him a few times a day or leave a message. He'll call you back.
