removing weight- what is this part?
removing weight- what is this part? I was removing some things today under the car to shed some weight and I came across this plastic box with a vacuum line goin to it on the passenger side of the car next to the horns. what is this part? can I just plug the vacuum line and remove it?
you can see this part from the access panel under the front bumper on the passenger side.

Just plug off the vacuum line and pull it off if it's in the way. The blower may revert to the defrost position at WOT when vacuum is low and will not hold in the set position when you shut the car off and restart. Other than that the heater will function normally.
