Default Spark plug question

Okay heres the scenario me and my mechanic are going to pull my motor to go over everything and freshen it up for 2010. I plan on running nitrous (200) but don't know how soon before I purchase the kit. Should I put a nitrous plug in the car while the motor is out or should I just put some regular plugs until then?

If it helps any the car is (mostly street) not a daily driver and will only get sprayed a few times a year.

PM JL-ws6, or post in Nitrous Section if you haven't. BUT considering the O/P, he will tell you exectly what you need to hear. If someone tells you TR-6 is fine, run away. UNLESS your running a dedicated fuel cell filled with c16 but again, PM him.

Good Luck

Don't install nitrous plugs until you are ready to spray. You may find that your nitrous plugs last on the street but you should start spraying on new plugs. And don't try to start with a 200 shot.

I was always told to run a non projected spark plug with nitrous. I have ran the tr6's but have been running the autolite racing plugs. I ran the AR103's N/A and switched to the colder non projected AR474. I would run the hotter plug on the street and put the colder plug when you decide to spray. Colder plugs foul out quicker on the street.
