hex vs splined quick release wheel
hex vs splined quick release wheel fabbing up the entire steering system and was woundering if anybody is using the hex style quick release steering hub. Only thing i can think is it might have more play in it vs a splined hub. Kinda like a poorly fitting socket on a bolt head.
Hex hubs are a good bit cheaper then splined so i figured id ask.
I was also woundering if people were using an actual flange seal where the coloumn goes through the firewall or just drilling and welding a plate to the coloumn.
