Default Battery relocation questions

Okay guys i have done a ton of searching and can't find what I am looking for so lets see if anyone can help me out. So far this is what I thinking about getting http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SU...5&autoview=sku. I know i need a cutoff switch with a mount and some sort of lever kit also.

What style switch to i do need with the factory alt. a 4 post or a 2 post?
- If a four post who make s a 4 post push pull lever kit?

I have seen a lot of different wiring diagrams and i am not sure which one to use either. I don't want to change my alt. I just want to get my battery to the back of the car so i can hook my stand alone for my nitrous!

You can use that kit. The best way to do it for a street driven car is to break the main batt cable going to the starter (NHRA approved)and then kill the fuel pump and run a hot wire to the fuse box. If you don't run a seperate hot to the computer it will reset everytime you push the kill switch in. Breaking the main batt wire won't kill the car because the alt. will keep it running. that is why you want to kill the fuel pump. I ran a relay off of the kill switch that drops out the fuel pump relay. I did this because my fuel pump is powered straight off of the alt. hot term. You could break that power wire if you want. I didn't. This is a pain in the *** mod for a street driven car. I mounted my batt. in the spare tire well.

I know this an old thread but I am ready to order some parts. What does everyone think about 1 gauage wire for the power? What type of cutoff switch do I use a two post or a three post? I want to start ordering parts for this to get it done!
