I have no line lock and its a 4 channel. Those pics in the pamphlet are the worst ever and I need some pics on how to hook these up. Thanks everyone a lot. Also for the proportioning valve, what do we usually set it to, how many clicks inward? Typical use?

Cant you just add a pc of brake line where the LL would go???? Cost like 5 bucks for fittings and line.

It really isn't hard at all.

For the rears:

Master cylinder--->Proportioning valve--->To rear brake line.

For the fronts:

Master cylinder--->Tee--->To front brake lines.

I didn't use HALF of the tubing the SJM kit included. In fact, I probably could have done without it and made my own kit for half the price. Oh well, live and learn.

For adjusting the proportioning valve, it's kind of tricky. You need to do several 25 to 0 stomps of the brake pedal. You want the front brakes to lock up right after the rear brakes lock. Start with the valve fully open and adjust one full revolution until you get it. It's not an exact science - just get it so it's comfortable. I finally drove mine with the ABS delete and the brakes feel quite different now so be prepared. My valve is set at about 50%.

Thats the exact same thing I was thinkin! That big *** kit with all those lines and half of them wont get used. Either way its a nice kit for what it is.

If you've got skinnies up front, definitely leave it wide open. You want the rears doing as much as they can so you don't slide the fronts as easily if you have to jump on the brakes hard.

i dont mean to hijack your thread, but do any of you guys happen to have either #1 or #2 (#1 most importantly) in the attached picture? it is part of how the ABS box mounts to its corresponding bracket on an LS1 f-body, maybe even an lt1 F-Body. i only need 1 of #1. my screw/stud piece is stripped and the nut won't come off, and the dealer said that the piece is discontinued.

i dont think i would get very many hits in parts wanted for something this small.

thanks in advance for your time.
