8000hp build
This may have happened but it ain't routine.
cylinders are dropped because of the insane A/F ratio. the fuel basically puts the flame out. usually you dont see cylinders go out after half track, unless they have to pedal it for some reason. you have to remember nitro methane is a naturally cool fuel. it will cool the cylinders as it runs. so when the plug is consumed, and they have to pedal it and it loads up with fuel, it will cool the cylinder past the point of detonation or dieseling.

considering nitromethane has more o2 than nitrous.. i always thought itd be neat to do a nitro spray setup akin to a nitrous system.

This is the same ones that you can get from JFR signed or blown up from their cars. I'm sure they get theirs cheaper because who they are and the massive amounts they purchase but from summit they are $854.88/set for the JE Top Fuel pistons.

A friend who ran a high hp bogger was looking at mixing nitro in his fuel. It is an additive you can buy somewhere and said to make huge power gains. He never ended up doing it for fear of getting caught cheating, but it was supposed to make some serious extra power.
