How did you hook yours up if you don't mind... which hose to which nipple?

Didn't have it when it was stock internal It was 3400 lbs back then.

I was mistaken I have this one

The hose off the radiator cap ties into the top of the new overflow.

Nothing ties into the bottom because it doesn't recirculate which I'm pretty sure the stock one didn't either. Make sure you tie up the little valve or it might open if something brushes up against it and drain the coolant it has caught.

I couldn't find a hose schematic for an LS1, but this one for an LT1 looks exactly like what I remember. Hose from top of radiator, to overflow, and vented fill cap.

Bain I have that exact same one, but I mounted it in the spare tire well, and I put a hose off the end out thru the rubber drain so that way I can drain it from time to time. I ran teh hose inside the kick panel to the back of the car, this way if it does catch anything it will not hit the tires, which is a real good way to lose a car especially at the top end, which is when you'd have a problem with it anyway.

Works fine, has for me for 2 years with no problems. I am going to, however get another one that will hook the hose up to the bottom, and then run a hose off the top to the back of the car, this way it will recirculate. Also going to swap to a really small radiator and stuff it in the corner of the nose, for the sake of weight reduction, and to make room for other eventual things that will find their way into the engine bay.
