Default Big Money at Spring Break Shootout!

This might get some of you long-haulers to make the trip to San Antonio Raceway on March 14th.

The heads up classes will have $2000 added money per class! This is with a minimum of 8 vehicles entered per class. So, with 8 vehicles in a class, we get:

1st place: $1000
2nd place: $500
Semi-Finalists $250 each

The Index and Bracket racing classes will have $750 per class added.

See the Spring Break Shootout forum for more discussion. This will be the highest paying LS1/LT1 event so far!

Yep, if things work out as planned, we will have a total of $13,000 added prize money, PLUS contingency bonuses. Not bad eh?

Contingency works like this. Participating vendors provide a list of specific items they wish to cover for contingency items. Racers get this checklist prior to racing and must fill it out, stating each item on the car. Cars are teched to verify if parts are on the car (in most cases).

If you win first place, each contingency item you have registered is worth $100 each. If you win second, each item is worth $50 each.

-SO- you could have 10 contingency items on your vehicle, and win, and make an extra $1000!

I see the sponsors listed for the classes, but do we have anyone signed up for the contingency yet?

All payouts in the heads up classes should be the same, it all depends on the amount of added money.

Brady, we are looking for two Outlaw sponsors as well.

Lynda, we have a few interested contingency sponsors, but they are deciding on which items they wish to cover first. Billingsley, Thunder, Futral, Texas Speed so far...
