Default Heavy front end tips

I know there is alot of info under this section but just looking for any helpfull tips. I am running an iron block with a procharger. I have all after market stock style suspension parts. I know this is a broad question but figured some one can point me in the right direction.

That's alot of weight up front. Any weight reduction you can do will be a good thing.

Run 325 lb. springs instead of 300's if you ever go for drag springs.

Well considering I owned a LT1 for years, being used to an Iron block was no biggie, even with putting on a FI setup like a Procharger.

LT1 springs were a little heavier then stock (i beleive 315-320#) and most times if you need to get weight off. People would xfer the battery to the back, and remove un-needed equipment such as fog lights, A/C unit, washer fluid/bottle, extra overflow coolant.

Whats the plan for the car?? What are you trying to accomplish.

the is always the lightweight spindles... but I don't like the fact that they are a 2" drop spindle... I personally don't like em lowered... for a race car anyway.

I'm putting 275 lb springs in my LT1 with some weight reduction up front.

Another thing to note as I am sure you do not want to hear this, maybe its time to buy LIGHTweight aftermarket front end components. I.E. Chromoly. Sell the Mild Steel stuff.

I have the 325 springs and most of they other things removed just dont like how the springs are almost all the way up the shock. I would like to get the car into the 9s with a six speed but i doubt that will happen.
