Swaping in a th400/350
As far as swapping the tailshaft, I believe you'd also have to swap the output shaft.

Kolene steels, Red Alto, Kevlar line race bands, new pump. Also has a deeper trans pan looks like it can hold an extra quart of fluid.
Total for the trans and correct out put/tail would be 350 if I do the work.
Sound like a good deal??

Im in the same boat, im running a th400 with RMVB and its still plenty fun on the street. Im the same way though, i dont daily my car and it will see limited street use once the S60 goes in
Anyways Im pretty pumped about this swap. I hope it will drop my 60ft a ton, put the car in or very close to 10s NA then spray this pig into the 9s.
My only gripe about it is that you need to be very deliberate in squeezing or releasing the trigger when shifting. When shifting from 2-3, I squeeze the trigger and push forward, then release the entire assembly. If you're not careful and release the trigger while you're pushing forward, you can skip past 3 and go right into neutral. Never had it happen to me while driving, but it was something I noticed when I first started feeling the gears out. That's why I always hold the trigger all the way down until the shifter stops moving forward then I release everything and put my hand back on the wheel.
