Default T-tops...on or off for Drag strip

what is everybody's opinion on this. i run with my t-tops in the back so i can get better weight back there with out adding weight. am i loosing stiffness or launch potential for not having them on the top of my car?

You HAVE to run with them on. Safety rules. Windows must be up too.

http://www.racelegal.com/web/requirements.asp

They're not supposed to let you. Where it says window and window nets, that means you need the cabin of the car closed and secured in case of roll over. If it is an open cabing, then you need arm restrains. It's to keep you or any parts of your body inside the car at all times.

And the difference is very minimal.
