On my old exhaust setup I had Spiralflows right off the headers and it wasnt too loud while cruising but screamed at wide open throttle. But then again I like loud. Made 353 and 358 untuned on a Mustang Dyno with that setup and a LS6 manifold, ported tb and Volant CAI. Oh and this is thru a stock stalled auto.

This is the only picture I can find that shows the bullets. If the exhaust guy knows what he is doing then they will tuck like mine did. We didn't have to do anything to the floors or braces

What brand LT's are those? And did he add any pipe between the bullet and driver side header?

I'm using the dynomax bullets and while they are loud and sound good, I need something a bit quieter for the street. Those magnaflows sound like they are a lot quieter. Who knows.. I'll probably be pulled over either way, right?

Those were Pacesetters and there was about 18" of pipe between the header and muffler

Well, one of my mufflers fell off last week so today I had my exhaust guy see what he could do... dumped them right off the headers! Ground clearance is way better than before, will take pictures tomorrow. Sound is just a little louder, i actually like it better!

Bain,
Forgot to ask but were your XR-1's the 12" long ovals or the 16" long ovals. I am short on space because of the BMR torque arm cross bar. Thanks again, Ken

What part number are those magnaflow mufflers? What kind of magnaflows are they?
