That bracket is too thin for comfort, and I don't think it would be safe or pass tech if they spotted it. And I hear ya I was thinking the same thing before I purchased them. Get them hahaha, Once you receive them you'll be happy you bought them. After 2 years send them in to Simpson during winter time to get them re-certified. If you can wait till the weekend I can take some pics for you I'm home Saturday night.

Can I just take the bolt on brackets off and wrap them? Or do I need to order wrap on style?

The belts don't get thrown out in 2 years. You send them out for re-cert.

If I remember right, the bolt-in gos to a Y with the metal tie down on the end. Just get the wrap around.

I'm not too sure on that, IIRC I've seen some with the belt sewn so you can't take the mounting tab off and some where you can.

It only goes into a Y if you choose the "v" style bolt in where theres only one mounting point.

Good, I felt bad for posting wrong info about them being able to be re-certed. I'm hoping they offer this belt for a long time. So I only have to replace the drivers every 2 years, and just leave the pass one as is.
