Mike you right and thats what i was trying to say. but alot more can come into play then just shock adj. but having the right shocks sure will help.

You need to have the capability to slow down the compression once the tire plants so that it doesn't bounce up and unload as quickly. In the case with my video, you can also use the d/a shock to control how hard the tire plants by stiffening up the rebound (extension).

I was busy last night, so tonight Ill get the rear shocks adjusted. I found a tiny brake line leak from when I put on the line lock so gotta fix that and bleed them. Then tomorrow Ill test it again and try and get some vid.

took the car out lastnight and did another test hit. Nothing seemed to rub with the stock springs back in. It was just a 1st gear launch from 5k and spun pretty good and laid a patch but the psi in the tires was 22 and no burn out. Do you think the tires would grow more on the big end then spinning threw 1st??

yes the tire will surely grow more as the MPH increases, but keep in mind it will get more narrow as it does

So they say the tire grows about 1" at the big end think about 3/4" clearance is fine by the front rocker and rear bumper?? When I raised the rear it gained top clearance but also lost clearance at the bumper and rocker

Should be fine, 1" total diameter growth = .5" on each side. For the forward lip at the bottom of the wheelwells, I bent those lips toward the front of the car just in case the tire wanted to try and catch it. Did you clearance the rear bumper at all? The TA's seem to have a bit more room in the rear wheelwells than the Camaro's but I had to trim my rear bumper quite a bit to fit the 28's in there.

You should be fine with that, you saw mine at the cruise night and there about 1/2'' - 3/4'' from the front and they never rub even at 130mph the rear bumper cover is where I need to find space and I hear thats easy lol.

you want more clearance up front than in the rear. i have anout 3/4" up front and 5/8" in the rear. been up to 140 on the dyno with no rubbing.
