Mike you right and thats what i was trying to say. but alot more can come into play then just shock adj. but having the right shocks sure will help.
A clutch car does the exact same thing as the car in that vid you posted (anti-squat, also called separation), it just happens much more quickly and violently. If I posted up that vid of mine at normal speed you wouldn't even see that the tire is being flattend out. That is why it's more important to have a good d/a shock on a clutch car. You need to have the capability to slow down the compression once the tire plants so that it doesn't bounce up and unload as quickly. In the case with my video, you can also use the d/a shock to control how hard the tire plants by stiffening up the rebound (extension).

took the car out lastnight and did another test hit. Nothing seemed to rub with the stock springs back in. It was just a 1st gear launch from 5k and spun pretty good and laid a patch but the psi in the tires was 22 and no burn out. Do you think the tires would grow more on the big end then spinning threw 1st??

You should be fine with that, you saw mine at the cruise night and there about 1/2'' - 3/4'' from the front and they never rub even at 130mph the rear bumper cover is where I need to find space and I hear thats easy lol.
