Crack in Windshield=no racing?

Crack in Windshield=no racing? I was just driving my car the other day, and got a crack in the windshield. Go figure, I drive the damn car like 2-300 miles a year, and I get a crack. Anyways, I had the glass guy here today to replace the glass, but they ordered the wrong trim piece. They ordered a t-top molding, and I have a hard top. Anyways, the crack is right in the middle, and runs up to the top of the glass. Does anyone know if this would pass inspection? There are races tonight, and I wanted to go. It's perfect outside to run a blower car at the track, and I've never run the car, before, so it would be interesting to see how it does. If I can't, oh well, just curious.

I don't remember how close they looked at my camaro last time I went. I think I may just say the hell with it and go. It's a hour drive, but it's awesome outside, and I kind of just want to drive the thing.
If you got a good Track Tech Guy, I would bet he would fail you. But depends on the track and the guy checking the car.
Safety is always a concern and already cracked glass may not provide the same protection that the glass had before the crack.
