Help wiring aftermarket th400 shifter to P/N saftey switch
Alot of folks in this section with TH400's and aftermarket shifters etc. I am putting a B&M pro ratchet in my 93 trans am. The shifter comes with 2 microswitches, 2 terminals on each one. One for backup lamps, and one for neutral saftey. according to the instruction i need to find the 2 wires for the N safety circut and connect them to the appropriate switch and also 2 for the backup lamps.
ANyone have any insight to this. What wires do i need to clip off the stock connecter and connect to the B&M Neutral safety switch, and likewaise for the reverse switch? THANKS!!

In my 99 I used two wires from the flat 6-pin connector on the front of the factory shifter. Pin E (purple/white) and pin F (green). I ran those two wires to the terminals on the neutral safety switch. For the last hour I've been looking for the schematic or connector end view that I used to figure that out but I couldn't find it. It's somewhere in the service manual.
Not sure if your 93 would be the same.
