****, sorry for not adding relevant real-world information. You probably shouldn't ask AI or LE anyways, they have zero proven real-world LT1 success, right?

I didn't ask your opinions, or what works best for you or your friend, I asked who has run something of a similar size.
If you wanna tell someone about your feelings and opinions go to a shrink.

I talked to Cam Motion, gave them all the details of what my build is gonna be, and this is what they gave me specific to my setup. Vig 4K, 4.10's, Fresh Rebuilt 355 LT1, 1.5 RR, stock heads.
Is anyone running something similar Cam Only? Any potential problems I may have with something with these specs, i.e.; tuning, driveability, etc?
I posted this in the LT1 section but it's filled up with alot of internet mechanics nowadays, no help at all.
Here's some real world advice. I ran a cam roughly that big on the stock heads, and EVERYONE who has posted in this thread is right regarding the SUCKAGE that it was. It blew. That CamMotion grind will also blow.

How exactly will their grind blow? You a cam geometry expert now?
That cam is going to want to make power to 6800+ RPM. Will your stock bottom end survive? Maybe temporarily. Assuming your stock bottom end doesn't explode, move on to the heads. That cam will need the RPMs far beyond what the LT1 heads can handle. That's the point of PORTING the heads when you increase how much air-fuel mixture is entering the engine. If the heads cannot support what the valve events are, it's like trying to parallel park a school bus in a compact car-sized space.
The research has already been done for you. Search, search, and search some more, and see what the cam-only guys are running. The guys who run donkey dick cams on stock bottom ends only ever result in disappointment, and I'll attest to that. In this instance, CamMotion provided you with a poor suggestion, and that's the truth.
For what it's worth, I run a SMALLER cam in my 383 with fully ported stock castings (from Advanced Induction, by the way). There are some 383s running around with much larger cams, single plane, etc. that don't put down the numbers I do.
