Out of curiosity, what gear do you guys with linelocks use for burnouts? First or second? I will be watching this thread as I am about to take mine to the strip for the first time.

In your vid you are just blowing off the tires.
You need to lower the launch RPM a lot to allow it to try to hook.

2nd gear was no problem with 3.42's. Gets 'em good and hot without a crazy amount of revs. 3-4k is plenty to generate some billowy smoke! Then just release the button and roll out of it.

Car looks like it's wanting to pull the front up but your front sway won't let it hold and just pulls it back down. The bouncing effect from that isn't helping the weight transfer at all.

Rear looks to be unloading too quickly also. Move those LCA's up a hole and try that.

Play around with the launch rpm too, but I'd just do a good burnout and get 'em smoking a bit. And as others said, adjust the suspension, pull the front sway and see what she does. Let me know if you go to TNT on tuesdays at all, I might just join.

Yeah I think that is next on my list is shocks. Guess i start saving for those, Is there any differance with Madmans afco compared to buying from someone else where i possibly could get them cheaper. Or should i be good with some Strange single adjustable in rear and doubles in the front.

Generally, (and I' m sure someone else will chime in) Strange or HAL SA's will be good for the fronts on an M6 car. Might wanna pop for some AFCO DA's in the rear.

This^^

I have heard from many guys local that I should have gotten Afco Doubles for the rear esp. since I want to run Radials. I use the single adj QA1s "R"s up front, they are valved different on the rebound side I think to keep the front from crashing down. They work great and for next year Ill have some DAs for the rear of my junk! Im no expert but the guys that have told me have had or work on really fast cars. Im sure some "expert" will chime in and say doubles up front and singles in the rear but IMO its the other way around..

Yeah i was thinking doubles up front and singles in the rear. Why not doubles on all four the only problem i see with that is PRICE. But if doubles would be worth it I would buy them. Spent too much money to cheap out on shock i would imagine.

I wanted doubles frontand rear but couldnt afford it at the time. But I feel doubles in the rear are more important, You can control the rearend more and keep it planted..
