LOL,,, I did the exact same thing when I ordered my shocks/brackets from Madman... saw LA and thought "oh those should be here quick" lol... West coast here. The proper rear shocks make all the difference on a stick car.

I wish our tracks were still open this late in the season.

Shocks look great! Looks like you could run them as coil overs if you got the springs and a mounting kit?????

yes, but you wouldn't be able to run any stock suspension classes.

Oh yeah, it's pretty easy to switch over, and if you ever decide to go Outlaw, then you're already half way there. lol

FWIW, I have the 300lbs springs up front on my car and I really do think it is hurting me even with afco shocks on all four corners. I really want to try a 275lbs spring, and I will when I get ready to have the car scaled again.

What's your race weight with you in the car? Also, what kind of motor set-up are you running? If you're a full weight car with a basic motor set-up with no turbo or anything, you should be just fine with the 300# springs. Now, I know you set your car up a little differently than we do, but spring rates and shock settings are pretty much basic on all corners of the board. What kind of shocks are you running front and rear?

Thanks for the help Steve looking forward to trying the Madman settings. Although I forgot to mention the nitrous kit on the car when we were talking about HP. That # was NA. Car should have about 550-600 on spray. Pm me if you think I should change anything or should I just leave them at the settings you gave me when I spray it?
Thanks Again.

You're at a good starting point with the settings I gave you. Give me a holler when you're going to the track. Thanks for your business!

Thanks, I should have just got them in the first place but figured for 80 bucks I might as well give the comp 3ways a chance. Car hooks way better on the street now even with DRs over QTPs. I hope the weather holds out so we can get some track time in.

300# springs should be perfect for your set-up. If you went lighter, I think you would have problems transfering weight, and any heavier would probably transfer too fast. If you bought your AFCOs from us, we can give you baseline settings, and tell you how to adjust your shocks depending on how the car reacts on the launch.

You have obviously seen too many cars to remember the slow ones Steve. Brian has personally turned the ***** on my shocks at the track.
