Are you looking for a lateral limiter that stops front to back movement of engine when using a motor/mid plate?

I think the one Tek is selling is to stop rotational movement from engine torque.

I had one that bolted up where the a/c pump goes, we made it out of a flat piece of 1/8th plate, put a couple tabs on it, ran essentially what looked like a mini rear lower control arm to the frame, where another set of tabs were welded to the frame rail.

Worked for me.

with a mid and motor plate, i guess you need a nother support to keep the motor from moving forward or backwards.

not to hijack, but ive been going back and forth on motor plates as well and was wondering what you guess that have a lot of exp with these recommend for mid plates. Around what level HP are these recomended to put on or is it, if you go plates put one on. I like the idea of goin to a front plate and getting a k member with no MM pads and giving tons of room under there to work, i just wondered if the mid plate was necessary cuz they seem like a bitch to put in, and i would be putting everything in in my garage on jack stands and pulling the motor trans apart from each other to put the mid on would be a PITA cuz i dont have a cherry picker or anything to help hold the motor and ****

Would it not be a good idea to have both? At what TQ would you start looking into a rotational limiter?

You don't really need a rotational limiter once you have a motor plate on the car, that pretty much takes are of the side to side and rotation.
