I got a 1.54 with my old MT's in 15". I'm on the factory 17's now and wanted to try a couple of passes before the track closes.
Long ago M&H Racemasters worked great on the Stang. Don't know much about Nittos except supposedly they wear the least.

I would say MT's based on my experience but from what hear the Hoosiers the are just as good, also there softer and lighter.....
I have gone multiple 1.4 60fts on a 275/40/17 MT drag radial with my cam only car. I just put a set of 275/50/17, 28in tall MH Racemasters on it for the changes I made/making to it over the winter. I'm egar to try them out to see how well they will hook. I'm running MT's for the 15s but want to try out Hoosiers dr once the mt's are worn out.
