Not sure about any one else but mine can't weigh more than 10-15lbs (max). I can hold it with 2 fingers. Mine is purely the shell. No more gauges as I put in an all-in-one RacePak (except the A/F gauge). Here's a shot of my dash.

its lighter than OEM, but not much lighter...benefit comes that its a blank shell thats easier to mount stuff where you want it. Another bonus is the upper dash pad is fiberglass so you don't have the cracking issues like the OEM piece.

Also, most dzus the dash in for quick removal to access to wiring behind it if needed...

I just gutted my stock dash and weighed it, comes in at 10 lbs 14oz with no dash pad. I will probably still do a fiber glass dash.

The top plastic dash panel, gauge bezels, knee board, and glove compartment add to that.

No thats with no dash pad, gauge bezel, glove box or knee board. Thats what it means to be gutted. but yes If you added all that back in it would be much heavier
