Vfn dash
Vfn dash Does anybody have pics of vfn dash installed. I'm thinking bout buyin one for my build since the factory dash in the 94 firebird I picked up for 250 bucks was shot to hell. but for that price I can't complain but is it worth the money or jus buy one out of a junk yard. it's goin to be a strip car with the basics to make it street legal so I want a stock look versus a fabed metal dash any pics or info will be appreciated

It is unfortunately not of a Camaro, but will give a general understanding of what is needed to mount one of our dashes.
We do not have an 8 week production time. At our most busy times, we can run 5 weeks for production....but it is not the case on these dashes, we generally keep them in stock.

It comes with the dash that Fireball has in his 'bird. I have the factory dash in my car, but my top piece is like a lot of other folk's top piece....about five separate pieces that I fiberglassed together, and now it doesn't fit worth a crap. I'd just like a repro entirely in fiberglass, but don't need the dash.

I am NOT - NOT - bashing VFN (I have bought a couple of other items from them without any problems) BUT their dash is not all that great. After trying to get the dash to fit and mounted, we finally gave up. Through it in the back of the garage. With a 25 cage, we had to cut the crap out of it, than tried to mount it. There is no way to mount it - believe me, we tried everything to get it mounted. So, I gutted the stock dash. Fits great. The weight savings of the VFN dash was nothing. The stock dash weighs nothing when just in the shell form.
AGAIN, I am not bashing VFN. I do run their hood. It fit great. I did have to modify the hood to fit for the turbo but that is to be expect. Thanks VFN for a great hood. But your dash needs to come with some type of mounting options.
