Battery Cutoff with battery up front
Unless I am reading the NHRA rules incorrectly a battery cutoff switch is required on all cars 9.99 and faster. I was just planning on a running a small battery upfront instead of adding all the weight of battery cables the length of the car. Is there an easy way to have the cutoff switch attached to a stock located battery?

I have seen a few stock eliminator cars with the battery switch under the hood next to the battery. Maybe one of those guys can chime in here and explain how that works as far as the rues are concerned. It's not accessible unless you pop the hood, so I don't know how this is legal.

cutoff is supposed to be in the rear for track personnel to use in case of a mishap. by the time you run wires to the switch, you might as well move the battery too
