Default Wheel question.

I tried searching but couldnt find what I needed. Just like every other poor guy out there I am looking for ways to save money. I have decided on the Weld pro stars because it has the 7.5 backspacing that I need in order to run the 10" wide wheel. Now, the summit brand wheels are cheaper and they have the correct size 15X4" wheel to run up front so my question is, would it look ok to buy the 15X10 wheels from weld and the 15X4 from summit or would people notice the difference?

I pulled them both up on the sites and cant tell a difference but I just wanted to see if anyone out there had any experience with this.

Thanks guys.

They do look very similar pulling them up online. I can notice a bit of difference in how wide & long the raised portion around the lugs are. The design is almost identical and I think would go unnoticed by most. I did see that the Summit wheels are a one piece wheel and use a standard lug nut instead of the shank type, so the lugs will look different.

Yeah, I can deal with the lugs being different I just dont want there to be a major design difference or a difference in the color of chrome.

Powder coat them black!

Seriously though, both are polished aluminum and I'd think look the same.

the welds have a lot more shine to them than the summit wheels. if you don't run center caps in the back it will be less noticeable

See thats what I needed to know. If the only difference is the shine then I will get them powder coated black and be done with it. Sweet that saves me like 200 or more bucks. Thanks guys. I just dont want to have to deal with the haters tryin to call me out on it.

IMO the prostar/greg weld combo looks better, and the GW's are cheap also. heres a pic
