Car will be focused for the track but want it to be able to cruise to the car show. Lloyd knows everything about my set up. Says "it will make TONS of mid range TQ and pull to 6800 RPM with the 383".

I'm guessing that's a hydraulic cam? I'd put a 4800+ converter in it.

The car can really launch with this setup. Again matching it up with the right Transmission and Clutch among other upgrades is a must.
the 382 in my vette launches real good 3600 stall 3.73 gears cuts low 1.41 and 1.42 na consistently and have cut a 1.344 and 1.369 on a 100 shot. on irs rear stock suspension with front sway bar out in front gets a little air

Well I got the 383 for a steal last night. Some how the old owner got some water in the oil pan and it froze over, he freaked out and sold me the brand new short block for 350 bucks. I melted it all out and everything looks mint inside and no rust at all. So I just need to send it out to a shop have them verify everything is good then start building it. Now the only thing Im not sure about is the pistons being high enough compression since they are SRP pn 138103s

I doubt it. The car has seen about 700 miles in 2 yrs and a lot of that was at the track. Plus the car is more drag focused than street focused.
