Default Rear spring for drag racing?

What is everyone typically using for a rear drag spring? Car will end up making around 800 or so rwhp.

Going with QA1 single adjustables in front with 300 or 325 lb spring, and Double adjustables in the rear. Just not sure what spring I want to run.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks-

Zach

What brand are you referring to? I really dont want to run a stock rear spring mainly bc my car has eibach lowering springs on it now and I dont want to pay for stockers. If I am going to pay for something, I would rather spend the money on aftermarket.

Why Stock rear springs work better than most aftermarket. Unless your going coil overs just get the stockers powder coated to make them look cool.

my car is still in the process of being built, but after a ton of research, I chose to go with the coil overs from QA1, with double adjustable shocks the springs are 150#

Spring choice can depend on which swaybar you use too. Wolfe and other solid bars recommend use of stock springs. I have a Wolfe on my car with stock springs, Comp 3-ways.

Many company make the same springs, AFCO, Hals, Hypercoil ect.
To use these spring you will either have to modify your stock spring location or do a coilover set-up.
I weld a adjustable seat to the rear-end and modified the upper by welding a 3" diameter piece of pipe to hold the spring in place.

QA1's are garbage. I wouldn't waste my money on them. I got the single adjustable for my rears and they stuck after 1000 miles on them. Now I have to send them to get rebuilt because they won't adjust stiffness. I'm definitely not the first person who has had that happen to them. Their are better shocks that are more reliable for less money out there. Only good thing about QA1's are that they are rebuildable when they break.

I was running the QA1 single adjustable all the way around with BMR rear springs with air bags, and 300lbs.up front and was cutting 1.30 60ft. I had to remove the BMR springs because i mini tub the rear, and went with the Wulf adjustable rear springs so the springs would not rub the tires.

hmm... ran a twisted up 1.45 60' on my third pass in this car. BMR springs, QA1 singles, no anti-roll bar or airbag, 2 year old ET Streets, etc. I don't really see how the rear spring will make any difference whatsoever. I just like how the car sits with the BMRs...

Strange DAs on all 4 corners, 3450 lb car, stock rear springs and 300lb coilovers on the front. The car is setup for nitrous, 1.36 and 1.37 60fts last track day a few weeks ago.
