Default Anybody running PRC 227's?

I'm replacing my PRC 2.5 243's with either Trickflow 215's or PRC 227's but I can't find any solid times or numbers with the 227's (besides TSP's car). It's mainly a track car now, so I'm re-doing my set up. CC's will be 56-58 for the highest c.r. The rest of my set up is the original 18000 mile short block that's flycut and has Katech rod bolts, a ported 90/90, ARH 1 7/8, elect. water pump and I'll replace the ms4 with a custom grind. It is an m6 (getting faceplated) and 12 bolt.

There's not a whole lot of these heads out there just yet as they are less than a year old. I'll do some checking and see if I can find you some graphs and time from some customers. Shoot me a PM with what you are looking at doing. Maybe I can help you out!

Jon, I'd be interested in seeing that information as well. Im currently running stock LS6 heads and a MS4 camshaft. I'm pretty confident I'm going to go with the 227, but my cheap *** has been waiting for them to go on sale again. I missed the last sale.

Ordered me a set off 227's earlier today. Missed the last sale, wasn't about to miss this one @ $250 bucks off. Thanks to Jon at TSP for answering my many questions. Great service as usual. Glad this post popped up, I had no idea these were on sale again. My MS4 should love these! Now I just have to save my pennies for ARP head bolts, gaskets, push rods and a nice set of roller rockers.

I'll post my dyno results once I get these heads installed with my MS4. I'm very curious to see the gains over the LS6 heads I have now. After much searching I was never able to really find any dyno results for these heads. Probably be a couple months before I will get these installed though.

I installed the PRC 227s earlier in November with SNL's Blower Cam. Waiting for the weather to get better to get it tuned. Went from Cartek's 2x 241s and Cam (418rwhp, 400rwtq) to this setup. Hoping to get some better N/A numbers than the last setup before the blower goes on. Will post back up when I get the dyno done!!
