wow I just saw you did the tubs after all the rear tubes were in there. That must have sucked! Looks like you got a drill in there to get the spot welds for the tubs and arm rest brackets, that dosn't look like fun.... and to get the saw in there. Came out really good man 
what did you use for seal sealer?
On the area behind the tubs, you welded in sheet metal? I'm doing that now, but with panels. How thick did you use? Got any better pics of them? And from the bottom? thanks

Thanks! The tubs were a pain!!! I used 20-30 cut off wheels and several metal blades. Some of that was my fault.. I didn't want to cut too much so I ended up cut more times. I welded in panels I made from .40 steel. Kinda thick but you can weld it without burning thru it.I took a couple pics.I just followed the curve of the rear frame. Hope they help..

I did trash the dash brace. I just welded some tabs off the roll bar to the factory holes in the dash and bolted the top to the stock place. Its pretty strong. I wont this thing to be light as possible!!
thanks for the pics, I'm using some .030 were I can't use the stock metal to make a ledge, and gona use alum bead rolled or CF for panels.

Looks like you narrowed the driver side frame rail?
Nice work on the dash bar, I saw after I asked about it you removed the stock studs for the dash brace any way. Still going to use the middle sliver metal bracket, for the dash and console?
I see a couple more pounds, the gastank bar in post70. (your runing a fuel cell I take it?) The rear seat belt oval metal under the car, and heat sheild tabs.... that hold down tap in the middle right about the Ttop well. Have any idea what thats even for? Jolster on here looked at some of his cars for me. Its not used back to earily 4th gens for anything, on a coupe or a convertible?

Thanks man! I used the wolfe mini tub kit it narrows both frame rails. Its a good kit. The rear frame dosent do anything on these cars just hold up the body so it wont hurt anything. But the kit does come with thick plates to weld back in. I haven't found any seam sealer yet. Need to go to a body shop supply store I guess. I am going to use the bracket for the console and a front mount cell. I still have a few things to cut off the car but im glad im allmost done with the cutting and welding!!!! I hope this thing is light. I'm going to use fiberglass hood and hatch with lexan.
Ya I bought the rear hatch glass too, gona have it installed soon, and see how close the weight savings is to the 27# pounds listed. And that thick purple wire for the rear defrost, and the heat sink on the switch is a few pounds.
Whats you hood plans? I'm really happy with the racecraft rails. They bolt on with hand tools, to the fenders, and bumper cover. You dont have to weld or make any brackets for them, and paint them. You can take the fenders and bumper off easy.
I like how you have the rear bars with a tube down to over the coils, and another going back. When I upgrade more then my 6point I'm gona have somthing like that and run the bumpstop metal out.

Thanks man it turned out good I think. I did cut the passenger side a little. It takes a lot of time to mini tub one. I did one side per day and worked all day. I did get the rear brakes yesterday and the seat mounts and hood rails from racecraft!!!
