Yeah I was thinking about that. Coming off that side, I almost need a "U" fitting to get it clear of the water pump, and that should be easy to find in AN. I'll do some digging at the hydraulic store today.
Thank you sir!
Again, if anybody knows if what line is the inlet or outlet on the heater box, don't be shy lol

OK cool, so I need to connect the heater hoses like this:
Feed is 5/8 - so connect to the bottom plug (which is on the driver's side)
Return 3/4 - so connect to the top plug (which is the passenger side)
Seem right?

Got it, Thanks!
I think since I can find a 1" NPT to 5/8" barb, I'm going to take a 1"NPT to 3/4" barb and just turn down the OD 1/8th to get it to 5/8"
See how that seals.

you can do it 2 different ways. you can just heat the end of the 5/8 hose with a heat gun to soften it and it will fit over the 3/4 barb, or you can get a 5/8 to 3/4 hose adapter and add 3/4 hose on to your current 5/8 hose. you can get the 5/8 to 3/4 adapter at any parts store.

Well I struck out again. The top plug isn't a 1" NPT (the one that is blocked off normally)
I called and he said it was a 9/16" "O-ring thread"...which can't be correct, because I'm getting around 0.910 for a minor thread pitch. I'll have to take it in tomorrow and throw some thread gages on it.
But I don't believe it is a NPT, he said it wasn't, but I've never heard of a "o-ring thread"....is that just a straight thread?

Yeah I kicked myself in the butt for that one. You can use it on the bottom if you want.
I'm going to take my 1" NPT fitting into the shop, I'm going to look into what makes "O-ring" or "AN" threads different than the norm. I might just turn my fitting down and turn some threads onto it.
