With the power goals that the article mentions... how much easier would it be to reach those goals with a bigger blower, say an f2 or f1r, gear driven?
Have you done anything with a centri supercharger and a blow thru carb? Curious on your thoughts.... (blow thru, and meth if needed instead of ic for weight/packaging reasons)

Please post the results. I'm interested to see what it does with the larger blower. I have no limit with the size for 8.50 index stuff, so I can do pretty much anything.
The 408 I have sitting here, is a 4 bolt motor, but with the ET 4 inch bore ls7 heads... I know that with a 6 bolt conversion, and on something that's somewhat smallish , around the 400 inch # an F2 should be about the right size to be able to make some good steam. I know about 1/2 the motor will be good parts (all brand new), shortblock will have to go, but that's a livable scenario.
I'm looking a a couple differnt possible blower drive setups, all of which should be reliable, and it's either cog driven, or a gear drive.
I really want to do the blow thru carb with this next setup and run a GM distributor setup and a digital 7 box... If it's a must due to iat's I'll put a meth kit on it, but for the simplicity of the plumbing, and in an effort to keep the car as close to the 2800 lb min the less plumbing and whatnot I have.. the better.
Keep the updates coming... very interested to see what happens.

you need to forget about the blowthru carb. There has never been a car with a blow thru that has run a quick as it should.
