Default Lightweight t-top replacement now available...

We sell a carbon fiber piece and a fiberglass piece. The fiberglass piece is the weight of one t-top, the carbon fiber piece even less...

You either attach t-top hardware to it (so you can just take it on and off like t-tops) via built in hardware OR you just screw and glue it (to make your car a "hardtop", couple customers already did this).

Our next shipment of 10 comes in Feb 9th and 6 are already paid for. Two month wait after that...

I looked at the pictures you supplied in your links and don't see any means of "bolting" OEM latches to it. Am I missing something?
Have any pics with the OEM latches attached to the top?

Pics don't show it but there will be mounting points similar to what a hood has...

Here's pics with latches installed on the PROTOTYPE (so bottom of production piece will look different)...

Those were test pieces, finished product ended up more refined but you'll still want to cover it in headliner material or just stick your t-top shades in there...

Prelim CF was under 10lbs...

Screw and glue is just that, it is for race car guys who add a little metal to where the t-tops latch to give you something to screw and glue (or dzeus clip) it to.

I myself have not done it but we have a customer who has and is going to post pics in the race section soon...

130mph. Just ran out of road. We plan to offer a center piece (a flat piece of metal with a lip at the end to slide the top into) that would replace the t-top center piece and just give you that extra safety for those planning to do triple digits...

I just went out and weighed it, a stock t-top weighs roughly 12.6 lbs so a bit over 25 lbs for the pair.

Damn !

I think that is only legal for ODR and Outlaw 10.5.

Badass but I think it will limit where you can race it.

I'm doing the same thing waterproofer is doing.. I'm just leaving the stock body panels on the car, and not making it a 1 piece removable.

That, is legal, believe it or not. "stock" mounting points are everywhere for the suspension, frame rails are still there too, bolt on k member setup, stock body panels all in factory location.
