i think he said the bender cost like 600 or something without any dies. i had about 200 in this counting spliting the cost of the 1" die with him (~$75)

Nice work, I like seeing people do this stuff... when you have the means, it's always rewarding to do it yourself.

You can make them lighter with a couple holes in the mounting plates, And since the front isn't going to be used to mount a fuel cell (not legal tubing size) I'd do what you can to narrow the front up a little bit to just hold the nose in place. The small bar (I assume you're using that to hold the bumper flap up) can go, all you have to do is trim the flap off the bumper cover.

I'd add a couple tabs off the back to attach the rear bumper cover where the push fastners are, to stop it from flapping while you're at it.

Nice work

Yeah, I was just going to trim the flap off the lower part of the bumper, but Liked how the Burkhart front support, supported the top part of the bumper, plus I am mounting a fuel cell in the front of mine.

nice work Ray.

Looks pretty good! If your going to sell a few of them, Id be interested in a rear support for my 94'. I wonder if it would be different, being that its a later year(LT1 car)...I don't think so, but its a thought.

So how much weight did this save you by taking out the factory bumper supports and adding these? Looks good though.
