ZO6 Springs??????
This is is not drag racing specific, do a little research in the GEN III ENGINE section. Also to answer your question is yes they will fit, IMO they are good for no more then a C5 Z06 Camshaft.

Well this is my first time on LS1 Tech so sorry to post in the wrong place.... And I DID NOT say ls6 head! I said will the stock valve springs from a ZO6 vette fit on a stock ls1 head. The casting from the ZO6 head is 243...
I did understand the question and from what was said. It is a common question but to be honest, to do this work you should be looking at something like either a Patriot Dual Gold Spring w/ Titanium Retainers or a Beehive replacement with Stock Steel retainers. PAC is a company people like to use and makes good stuff.
I currently run Comp Cam 918's and no issues with either version, but some have had springs break in the past.
