Question SummitStars

I know it's probably been done to death but I searched a few threads and couldn't find a straight answer.

Will the summit pro star knock offs clear stock brake calipers and rotors in a 15x4 up front and 15x8 out back with a 5.5in back spacing? Also what back spacing is needed for the front? And will I need any spacers?

Thanks guys!

Oh and what size tire would I need for the front and whats the max width Drag Radial I can run in the back?

They clear my stock brakes but mine are LT1 fronts, yours will be larger and probably require some grinding on the caliper. I have 15X4 with a 1.75 BS on the front and 15X8 with a 5.5 BS on the rear, if I could do it again I'd go with a 10" rear wheel though.

Would I end up having to grind the rear?

I had to grind and grind and grind and grind and grind..........and grind to get my 15x10's to fit. If I have to do it again I will just buy a better set of rims. There nice for the money though.

Would I have to grind a lot with a 15x8?

you already have the rims? If so jack the rear up and put them on and turn them. That way you can see if you have to grind alot. I put mine on and turned them acoulpe times to see what all I had to grind.

No I don't and I need to order them and the tires by tomorrow to make it to track day next weekend. Thats why I'm asking so many questions lol. If I go with a 15x10 can I still run a 275 or is that too small?

if your in a hurry why not buy two spare 16's for the rear and just run a 16" radial and save the money for a better rim if your worried about grinding.

I bought the 15x8 jegs sport stars which i was told is pretty much the exact same as the summit stars and ive got ls1 brakes and only had to barely grind down a little lip in the middle of the caliper. Took maybe 5 minutes each side. Fit and look great!

I have 15x8 jegs stars, which are pretty much the same wheel, and I barely had to grind, maybe 5 minutes worth.
